I graduated in Psychology from the University of Wrocław, completed a one-and-a-half-year course on the treatment of eating disorders, and a post-graduate program in pedagogical studies. Currently, I am participating in integrative psychotherapy training conducted by the Wrocław Institute of Psychotherapy (WIP). This training is approved by the Scientific Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association and accredited by the Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychological Association, qualifying me to conduct individual sessions, couples therapy, family therapy, and group meetings.

Professional Experience

I gained my professional experience initially working as a psychologist in a school for students on the autism spectrum who face developmental challenges. There, I conducted occupational therapy, workshops, social skills training (SST), and psychoeducational workshops.

At the Psychological-Pedagogical Counseling Center "Promyk Słońca", I supported youth with emotional difficulties, behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, neuroses, and adjustment disorders, as well as providing consultations and advice to parents.

For several years, I collaborated with various mental health clinics, helping clients cope with various problems, challenges, and disorders.

Currently, apart from working at "Stacja Terapia," I collaborate with the National Center for Eating Disorders, where I provide therapy for individuals struggling with anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders.

Areas of Specialization

Within the mental health clinic, I provide therapy for adults and adolescents aged 16 and above experiencing:

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Depressive disorders
  • Personality disorders
  • Bipolar affective disorders
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorders
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Sleep disorders
  • Eating disorders
  • Neuroses
  • Difficulties in interpersonal relationships
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Challenges in expressing emotions
  • Emotional crises
  • Difficulties with goal setting, motivation, procrastination, and prioritization
  • Stress-related issues

I also conduct couples therapy and family therapy.

Therapeutic Approach

In my work with patients, I employ an integrative approach, utilizing elements of psychoeducation, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), systemic therapy, the third wave of cognitive-behavioral therapy (including "ACT" - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and "DBT" - Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and schema therapy, tailoring methods to meet the individual needs of the patient.

I help define personal goals, recognize needs, and care for emotions. I believe that every person has the resources necessary for development, and the therapeutic space allows for their discovery.

My office is a safe space characterized by an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding. The relationship with my patients, based on mutual trust and therapeutic alliance, is extremely important to me – these are the foundations that enable effective collaboration and the joint achievement of goals.

I am a therapist open to LGBTQ+ individuals and people of various nationalities and faiths. I regularly submit my work to supervision and participate in my own therapy, thus fulfilling the recommendations of most associations of psychotherapists. In my practice, I prioritize the well-being of the patient and adhere to the Ethical Code of Psychologists.

Therapeutic Process

I begin my collaboration with adults through consultation meetings, usually comprising three sessions. The purpose of these is to understand the individual needs of the patient, familiarize them with the therapeutic space, and define therapy goals. During consultations, I ask questions to better understand the patient, their situation, and the challenges they face. I also create a description of the reported issues and select appropriate tools that will be helpful in further therapeutic work. When working with adolescents, I start with a meeting with their parents.

I also provide therapy in English.
