Every journey has to start somewhere. We'll aim to be the best starting point, no matter where you are.
Our therapeutic approach is based on the biopsychosocial model. This means that we think about people and their problems in a comprehensive way. We work together with clients to improve their functioning across various areas.
Taking care of our bodies and their needs is the foundation on which we can build lasting psychological change. We'll ask you about your sleep, whether you experience chronic pain, what your relationship with your body is like, and how you cope with stress. Together, we'll develop strategies to care for your body in the context of your unique challenges and needs.
They accompany us daily, taking the form of words, images, or memories. Thoughts help us plan our actions and understand the world, but they can also lead to suffering. This is an important area of therapy. We can teach you to better cope with persistent and critical thoughts. If you worry about the future or repeatedly return to difficult memories, psychotherapy can help you change your approach to thoughts, making them more helpful rather than burdensome.
During therapy, we want to understand how you feel. Everyone has their own emotional world and we can achieve a better understanding of it through conversation with another person. In this process, we pay careful attention to feelings, look for their causes, and sometimes simply experience them. This allows for better emotion regulation, mood improvement, increased life satisfaction, and reduced anxiety levels.
How we feel and think is reflected in our behaviours. We'll discuss what your day looks like, what you enjoy doing, and what you want to change, in order to build good habits and eliminate harmful ones. Together we'll consider what actions you can take to achieve your goals. This process will help you build autonomy and freedom in choosing the life you want to lead.
Relationships with other people are of great value to many of us, but they can also be a challenge. We'll accompany you in this process, building a special kind of relationship – a therapeutic alliance. We'll work on improving communication and understanding with others – in your family, romantic relationships, at work, and in other areas of life. Authentic, close bonds shape our sense of belonging and positively affect our well-being.
Therapy is a great place to reflect on what's important to us in life. A better understanding of yourself and your values allows for conscious, meaningful living, even in the face of difficulties and suffering. Whether you derive your values from religion, art, your relationships with others, or are still searching for them – together we'll make them a compass to guide you toward a fulfilling life.

The first meeting typically serves as an opportunity to get to know each other, exchange key information, and outline initial therapy goals. Together, we will define the problem in a way that facilitates positive change. This initial consultation may often span the first three sessions.
Don't worry if there's not enough time to cover something you consider important. We will adjust the pace to your needs and gather all relevant information to provide you with the best possible support.
During the first session, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions about therapy, the therapist's working methods, or any other issues of interest to you.
At the end of the session, you can decide whether you want to continue therapy with this particular specialist. Remember, you don't have to make a decision immediately—you can take time to think about it.
A session is typically planned for 50 minutes, though this may vary. The therapist may propose extending the session before it begins or during its course. This information will be communicated in advance, with the final decision always left to you.
The cost of individual therapy ranges from 200 to 220 PLN, depending on the therapist. The cost of couples therapy is 330 PLN.
Yes, all therapists offer individual sessions online. If you schedule an online session, the therapist will contact you with detailed information about the meeting format.
A hybrid mode (some sessions in person, some online) is also possible upon agreement with the therapist. However, we encourage scheduling in-person sessions whenever feasible.
We ensure the same confidentiality and professionalism for online sessions as for in-person ones. At the same time, we ask that you ensure confidentiality and comfort on your end by choosing a private, quiet location where the conversation will not be disturbed or overheard.
You will also need a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone (e.g., computer, tablet, or smartphone).
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision. Please familiarize yourself with the profiles of our specialists. All our therapists hold the necessary qualifications. Reading their profiles can help you find someone whose approach best suits your needs.
Remember, you can always change therapists or discontinue therapy if the current arrangement doesn't meet your expectations. While the decision is entirely up to you, it can often be helpful to share your concerns with the therapist and discuss any obstacles preventing progress. An honest conversation can significantly enhance the quality of therapy and mutual understanding.
If you're unsure who to book an appointment with, feel free to contact us via the contact form or email us at kontakt@stacjaterapia.wroclaw.pl. We'll help match you with a specialist who meets your expectations.
We offer systemic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and integrative therapy. You can find details about the types of therapy offered by each specialist in their individual profiles.
We invite you to reach out to our psychotherapy center. We are here to work together on your well-being.
